Kane County Senior Citizens

 

The Senior citizen program in Kane County is under the Council on Aging and there are two centers. 

The Kanab Center is located at 56 West 450 North in Kanab and is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

The Valley center is open on Monday Wednesday and Friday and is located at 417 North State Street in Orderville.

Senior Citizens Notice

Kanab Senior Center serves meals Monday through Friday at 12:00pm

Orderville Senior Center serves meals Mon, Wed & Fri  at 12:00 pm

Meals on wheels... are delivered 5 days a week unless it is a holiday to make arrangments in Kanab call 435 644-5250 and in Long Valley call 435 648-2504.

Activities offered at Kanab Senior Center every month

     Exercise -  Monday - Friday  9:am  (exercise equipment available all day)

     Friendship Club -  Monday 3:pm

     Fun Night (cards, bring snacks)   Wednesday  6:pm

     Porcelain Doll Class - Thurs 10:am

     Belltone Hearing Clinic  3rd Thurs.  11:am - 2:pm   (call for appointment )

     Red Rock Visually Impared - 4th Wed   1: pm

     Health Nurse (Blood Pressure, Blood Sugar test) 2nd Wed  10:am - 12:pm

    Shopping in town every Tues 1:30 pm

     Shopping out of town (St. George, Cedar City or Page) 1st Friday after 3rd of month  8:am

         call for available seating

     Medical Appointments to out of town Doctors call at least 48 hours before (if a driver is  

       available)
