Kane County Human Resource Department is responsible for payroll and benefit programs.  The Human Resource Director is also an assistant to the commission.

Now Hiring Full Time Deputy Clerk/Auditor

Position is full time with standard government benefits - Works under the direct supervision of the County Clerk/Auditor. Assists with the daily operations and duties designated to the County Clerk/Auditor. Job duties may include, but not limited to, issuing marriage licenses & passports and keeping records of the same. Assists with Commission Meetings by taking minutes, preparing packets, noticing meetings and maintaining records of those meetings. Assists with maintaining permanent records such as contracts, ordinances and bond certificates. Assists with annual tax sale, BOE and the County tax roll. Assists with department appropriations and all aspects of financial and performance audits. Assists customers who visit the Clerk/Auditor Office. Assists to oversee the ongoing and periodic processes of the office related to voter registration, balloting, record purging, and elections results processing. Graduation from high school or equivalent; AND one (1) year of experience performing above related duties OR an equivalent required or a combination of education and experience. Must have a valid Driver License. Must be 18 years or older. Must have good customer service skills.
