Now Hiring Full Time Dispatcher

Kane County Sheriff’s Office is now hiring for the position of Dispatcher. Position is full time. Salary $27123.20 to $29910.40 DOE. Standard Kane County Benefits Package. Minimum qualifications: Graduation from High School or GED certification; be able to type 35 wpm; at least 21 years of age; live within 40 minutes of Kanab; pass a criminal history background check must provide a date of birth. Performs a variety of entry level technical duties involving the use of radio equipment to dispatch law enforcement, fire and emergency personnel in response to a variety of community emergency and assistance calls. Must be able to receive calls for service from the public and be prepared to deal with emergency situations from angry and frightened callers. Requires good communications and advanced computer skills.
