Now Hiring Part Time Senior Center Staff Assistant - Orderville Location

Part Time up to 29 hours per week. $14.43 to $15.90 - DOE. No benefits.  Position location - Senior/Active Living Center Orderville; Wage range depends on experience; Works under the supervision of the Senior Center Director. Assists in the daily operation of the Senior Center. Assists with cooking and clerical duties to meet staffing demands as needed. Assists to implement and monitor policy and procedure compliance for center operations and programs ensuring adherence to established schedules and policies. May assist to oversee special events and various functions of the Senior Center and coordinate the planning and the scheduling of the activities in conjunction with the Activities Director. Performs general office and clerical duties. Assists with the preparation of food for home delivery and congregate meals. Assists in distributing food items from the Care and Share food pantry. Assists with the maintenance of food inventory, assists with food sorting and stocking of shelves when necessary. Must have a valid Driver License; Must have a high school graduation diploma or equivalent; Must have 2 years of experience with above related duties or an equivalent of education and experience. Must be able to pass a criminal background check including a clean driving record. Must possess a Utah State Food Handlers permit or have the ability to obtain within one (1) month from the date of hire. Must be CPR and First Aid Certified or have the ability to get certified. May be required to become “Serv Safe” Certified. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. The official Kane County Employment Application must be completed and signed. Resume’s accepted and preferred but must be submitted with the application. NO EXCEPTIONS.  Position will remain open until filled.
