Kane County Human Resource Department is responsible for payroll and benefit programs.  The Human Resource Director is also an assistant to the commission.


The Human Resource Office is conducting normal County business. However, during this pandemic crisis will be closed to the public . The Office is open to County Employees and Elected Officials. Any family member of an Employee or Elected Official will have access by appointment only.

Now Hiring Full Time Land Use Administrative Assistant

40 hrs per week with full benefits. $34,923.20 Annual Salary. Must be 18 yrs or older; be willing to attend evening planning meeting, second Wed. of each month. Duties include, but not limited to: taking minutes, typing letters, filing and other misc. office duties. Maintains meeting and appointment calendars. Publishes notices of meetings. Acts as the office receptionist; answer phones, route calls, and other duties as directed by the Land Use Administrator. Must possess excellent computer and people skills, dealing with the public is a large part of this position. Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). One (1) year of experience in office practices and procedures, PC operations and various software applications. Special Qualifications:  Must be able to type 60 words per minute. Must possess a valid Driver License. The official Kane County Employment Application must be completed and signed. Resume’s accepted and preferred but must be submitted with the application. NO EXCEPTIONS. Position open until filled. Looking to fill right away.
