$38,500.80 Annual Salary. Full standard government benefits. Position located at Kane County Courthouse under the supervision of the Land Use Authority Administrator. Performs a variety of resource management duties to focus on developing the areas pertaining to natural resources as it pertains to: employment, production, moratoriums, water development, public land management plans, environmental impact statements and assessments, interaction with state and federal agencies, permits, grazing, recreation, [and more] as needed to expedite the administrative, technical or interaction with federal, state, city and county (i.e. Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, National Forest Service, Utah State Parks, Department of Natural Resources, Dept. of Wildlife Resources, Utah Division of Water Quality & Water Rights, U.S. Fish & Wildlife Resources, Public Lands Policy Coordinating Office, & other counties.) Continually amending management plans as needed. Arranges Resource Inter agency meetings, Committee meetings and formal coordination meetings, provides correspondence for the County Commissioners on Resource matters as needed. Assists, under the direction of the Land Use Authority Administrator, the revision of the land management plans and Kane County General Plan. Part Time, up to 29 hours per week. $12.53 per hour. No Benefits. (1) position to be filled in Kanab Senior Center and (1) to be filled in the Orderville Senior Center Works under the supervision of the Senior Center Director and the Assistant Director. Assists in the daily operation of the Senior Center. Assists with cooking, driving (when necessary) and clerical duties to meet staffing demands. Assists to implement and monitor policy and procedure compliance for center operations and programs ensuring adherence to established schedules and policies. May assist to oversee special events and various functions of the Senior Center and coordinate the planning and the scheduling of the activities in conjunction with the Activities Director. Performs general office and clerical duties. Assists with the preparation of food for home delivery and congregate meals.
Must be 18 years of age or older; Must have a valid Driver License; Must have a high school graduation diploma or equivalent; Must have 2 years of experience with above related duties or an equivalent of education and experience. Must be able to pass a criminal background check including a clean driving record. Must possess a Utah State Food Handlers permit or have the ability to obtain within one (1) month from the date of hire. Must be CPR and First Aid Certified or have the ability to get certified.
