Now Hiring Full Time Legal Assistant-Prevention Project Assistant

$41496.00 Annual Salary. Full Time w/Benefits. 40 hrs per week, generally Monday-Friday. Some nights and/or weekends may be required for special events. Works under the supervision of the County Attorney and Chief Deputy County Attorney. This position is a combination legal assistant and prevention specialist. Part of the duties include a variety of working level complex duties in criminal courts to assist prosecution attorneys including general clerical, secretarial, and paralegal type duties. Part of the duties also include development and implementation of a count wide plan for the prevention of substance abuse and suicide working with multiple agencies and the Kane Community Coalition and Kane Community Youth Coalition. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, preference for college degree. Must be able to type 60 words per minute. Must possess a valid Driver License. Must pass the Utah State Prosecutorial Assistant exam within 12 months of hire. Must pass a criminal background check. Significant training will be provided for both Legal Assistant work and Prevention work. Preference will be given to experienced applicants, however, all applicants will be considered. Now Hiring Part Time Care & Share Assistant

$13.49 to $16.41 per hour - Depending on experience. Part Time/No Benefits. Average of 5 to 29 hrs per week. Assists with the daily/weekly operations of the department. Assists with the distribution of commodities to qualified transient and sub-poverty populations within Kane County. Works under the supervision of the Senior Center Director or Assistant Director. Must be a minimum of 18 years old. Must pass Criminal Background Check. Must have a valid Driver License. Must be CPR and First Aid Certified, or have the ability to get certified. Must possess a Utah State Food Handlers Permit or have the ability to obtain within three (3) months from date of hire. Must have the ability to perform physically demanding tasks related to lifting. Position will close when filled. Apply right away.

Now Hiring Part Time Senior Center Staff Assistant

Part Time up to 29 hours per week. $14.89 to $16.41 - DOE. No benefits.  Position location - Active Living Center Kanab; Wage range depends on experience; Works under the supervision of the Senior Center Director. Assists in the daily operation of the Senior Center. Assists with cooking and clerical duties to meet staffing demands as needed. Assists to implement and monitor policy and procedure compliance for center operations and programs ensuring adherence to established schedules and policies. May assist to oversee special events and various functions of the Senior Center and coordinate the planning and the scheduling of the activities in conjunction with the Activities Director. Performs general office and clerical duties. Assists with the preparation of food for home delivery and congregate meals. Assists in distributing food items from the Care and Share food pantry. Assists with the maintenance of food inventory, assists with food sorting and stocking of shelves when necessary. Must have a valid Driver License; Must have 2 years of experience with above related duties or an equivalent of education and experience. Must be able to pass a criminal background check including a clean driving record. Must possess a Utah State Food Handlers permit or have the ability to obtain within one (1) month from the date of hire. Must be CPR and First Aid Certified or have the ability to get certified.
