Filing Surveys
THE KANE COUNTY RECORDER'S OFFICE IS THE DESIGNATED OFFICE
FOR ALL SURVEYS DONE IN KANE COUNTY:
THE FILING FEE FOR EACH SURVEY IS $10.00 PER SHEET.
Plus $10.00 for each survey for the Public Land Corner Preservation Fund.*
SURVEY MAPS MAY BE SUBMITTED ON 18 X 24 or 24 X 36 SHEETS ONLY.
EACH SURVEY SHALL MEET THE STATE REQUIREMENTS FOUND IN 17-23-17 OF THE UTAH STATE CODE BOOK.
On October 15, 2018 Kane County adopted & approved Ordinance #O-2018-16. Which established a fund known as the Public Land Corner Preservation Fund. They imposed a fee of $10.00 for filing maps in the county surveyor’s office. As the depository for all surveys in Kane County, the Recorder’s Office will now require the $10.00 per page as set by the State of Utah and an additional $10.00 per plat for the Preservation Fund for all surveys filed in Kane County.
